What’s in it for you

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role: 

•  Perform sentry duties to control entry to confined spaces and the surrounding areas.

• Operating and spotting elevated work platforms (EWP), forklifts and telehandlers

• General cleaning duties including but not limited to vehicles, crib rooms and grounds.

• Assist site services team including but not limited to vehicle cleaning, manning the site store, escorting vehicles, transporting parts and materials around site.

• Assist tradespersons with general repair and maintenance works on both fixed and mobile plant and equipment

• Other duties as directed by Maintenance Supervisor, Stand in Supervisor and Leading Hand.

 
 
Essential Requirements for role:  

Demonstrated commitment to safety 

Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a trade assistant to mechanical trades

Elevated Work Platform 

Construction White Card  

Confined Space (within 2 years as it is a site requirement)

Working at Heights (within 2 years as it is a site requirement)

Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years as it is a site requirement)

Mask Fit Testing for a clean-shaven site

Valid Australian Driver's License  

Australian High Risk Work License for Forklift

Australian High Risk Work License for EWP (desirable)

Telehandler Ticket (Desirable)

Australian Work Rights (Permanent Residency and Citizenship)
