Operations Manager

About the role

You will lead and grow Reds Global's South Australia operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the safe, reliable and profitable delivery of SA projects, while building strong client relationships and securing new work. Operations comes first, with strong sales and business development skills essential.

Key responsibilities

• Leading SA tower crane, rigging, labour hire and associated operations

• Managing project mobilisation, delivery, labour, crews and operational performance

• Driving safety, WHS, VOC and compliance standards

• Managing labour utilisation, productivity, rostering and project costs

• Building a strong local network of operators, dogmen, riggers, supervisors and technicians

• Identifying and resolving operational risks early

• Developing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders, contractors, infrastructure and energy clients

• Identifying new projects and business opportunities

• Supporting proposals, negotiations and commercial discussions

• Helping convert opportunities into profitable secured work

About you

• Strong experience in the tower crane, crane, rigging, lifting or major construction industry

• Proven operational management and people leadership experience

• Exposure to Tier 1 construction and major projects

• Strong safety and commercial awareness

• Experience managing labour, utilisation and project costs

• Strong client relationship skills

• A genuine business development and sales mindset

• Evidence you have helped originate, negotiate or close significant work

• Confidence dealing with senior project and commercial decision-makers
