The opportunityYou've done your time as a Project Engineer and you're ready for more responsibility, not more of the same.PCA Ground Engineering is looking for an experienced civil or ground engineering Project Engineer to join our NSW team, with a genuine pathway to Senior Project Engineer.You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and senior leadership on technically interesting piling, anchoring, retention and deep foundation projects across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors, building your commercial and project management experience along the way.Get to know us!PCA is a proudly Australian-owned specialist contractor delivering ground engineering and civil construction projects across NSW and Australia.Our capabilities include piling, grouting, earth retention and civil construction, supported by our in-house engineering team.We've built a reputation for delivering technically demanding projects - from high-density urban retrofit and underpinning through to remote sites requiring specialist access.No two projects, or two days, look the same! What you'll be doingDrive both the engineering and commercial outcomes of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably and to specification.Keep sites humming by coordinating labour, materials, plant and equipment, and building programs that actually work on the groundIdentify and manage scope changes and variations, from measurement and costing through to negotiation.Manage contracts and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.Keep quality systems and documentation tight, so compliance and consistent delivery are second nature.
What you'll bring Essential:Australian residency or a current Australian working visa.Experience as a Project Engineer, Contract Engineer, or similar in Australian civil construction, you know your way around a site.Sharp contract management skills, backed by strong documentation and reporting.A genuine safety-first mindset, paired with a knack for problem solving and finding smart, commercially savvy alternatives for clients.An appetite for the open road: you're happy to travel to project sites across NSW and interstate when the job calls for it.Highly regarded:Ground engineering experience: slope stabilisation, earth retention or deep foundations.Experience working within an ISO-certified management system

SalaryBase salary negotiable depending on experience, plus superannuation, fully maintained vehicle and tools of trade.
