Store Manager

The Role:

We're excited to be opening a brand-new showroom in Fortitude Valley in September/October! We are seeking a Store Leader to join us, in a full-time capacity.

As Store Leader, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our showroom, delivering a seamless and inspiring customer experience that reflects our brand values - wow your customer, be open minded, be committed, do more with less, be humble. This role blends sales leadership, people management, operational excellence and visual merchandising to drive strong commercial results while building a positive, high-performance team culture.

As Store Leader your main responsibilities are:

• Lead by example to deliver a world-class customer experience, in-store and post-purchase.

• Achieve and exceed sales and conversion targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and review scores.

• Develop clienteling strategies that build long-term customer relationships and repeat business.

• Recruit, train and coach your team to hit personal and store performance goals.

• Foster a supportive, motivating environment built on accountability, trust and respect.

• Oversee store opening/closing, stock management and visual presentation.

• Manage rosters, timesheets and payroll accuracy against budget and labour targets.

• Ensure compliance with WHS, security and operational procedures.

• Track KPIs - sales, conversion, AOV, UPT and customer feedback - to find improvement opportunities.

• Partner with Customer Experience and Marketing on campaigns and events that drive foot traffic and sales.

• Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate with Supply Chain & Logistics on customer deliveries.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need

• 5–10 years' experience in retail store management or an equivalent leadership role (furniture/homewares preferred).

• A track record of driving sales, leading teams and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Solid understanding of retail KPIs, operations and scheduling.

• Comfortable with POS systems, CRM tools and Google Workspace.

• Energetic, self-motivated and enjoys a hands-on retail environment.

• Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
