Casual Team Member (Trusses)

About the role

Finlaysons is seeking casual Team Members (Trusses) to join our Frame and Truss plant in Zillmere, Queensland.

In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a team that manufactures high-quality timber trusses and building components used in residential and commercial construction projects across Queensland.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the assembly and manufacture of timber trusses
2. Operate and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
3. Work with the team to identify and implement process improvements
4. Ensure a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout the production process
5. Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction-related role, preferably in frame and truss production
2. A valid Forklift licence (essential)
3. Ability to work a roster between Monday and Friday
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
6. Familiarity with power tools and production equipment
7. Good problem-solving and communication skills
8. A safety-focused mindset and willingness to comply with all WHS requirements
