Civil Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Construction Project Engineer to join Mendi Constructions's team based in Townsville.

As a Civil Construction Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our Project Management personnel in delivering projects on time and within budget, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance, safety, and environmental management. Your role will require you to coordinate and monitor cost productivity, manage procurement and subcontractors, and possess high-level skills in project planning and programming.

The following experience and attributes are required:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering

• High level verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience and ability in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects

• Proven ability to coordinate and monitor cost productivity

• Procurement and subcontractor management experience

• High level skills in project planning and programming

• Be able to work and communicate as part of a team

• Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do

• Previous experience on a wide range of civil engineering projects

• Knowledge of software tools and technical systems, Procore experience an advantage

• DTMR experience will be highly regarded
