About the role
As a Product Manager - Deposits, you'll play a key role in managing and evolving our deposit and transaction account portfolio. You'll balance the day-to-day management of our products with strategic initiatives that support growth, customer outcomes and long-term transformation.
Working across Product, Distribution, Finance, Risk, Operations and Change, you'll help ensure our products remain competitive, compliant and aligned to customer needs. While your primary focus will be deposits and transaction accounts, you'll also have opportunities to support broader product initiatives across cards and other retail banking products as business priorities evolve.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and turning ideas into action. You'll bring together customer, market and business insights to support decisions, influence outcomes and help deliver meaningful improvements across our product portfolio.
What will your key responsibilities include?Manage and evolve our deposit and transaction account portfolio, ensuring strong customer, commercial and risk outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and customer experiences through market insights, customer feedback and portfolio performance
Support product reviews, pricing initiatives and portfolio changes from idea through to implementation
Build strong relationships across Product, Distribution, Finance, Risk, Operations, Digital and Change to deliver business outcomes
Prepare clear recommendations, papers and updates that support governance forums and decision-making
Help identify and manage product risks, issues and improvement opportunities
Contribute to broader product initiatives across cards and transformation programs as business priorities evolve
Experience in product management (or a closely related field), with exposure to product lifecycle and performance management
Experience in product management or a related role within financial services
Exposure to retail banking products such as deposits, transaction accounts or cards
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships
A commercially minded approach, with the ability to balance customer, business and risk considerations
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to work through ambiguity
Experience using data and insights to support recommendations and decision-making
