About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Pharmacist to provide ongoing management of the electronic Medicines Management Systems at our Eastern Health Pharmacy.
In this full-time, fixed-term position, you will provide support to the Senior Pharmacist - Pharmacy Informatics Officer (PIO) to ensure the use of medications is optimised within relevant systems and using automation and appropriate controls.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)/Pharmacy Boad of Australia.Experience and deep understanding of working with information systems in a health environment.Familiarity with principles of database management and maintenance.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a broader interprofessional team.High degree of computer literacy, particularly use of pharmacy systems, spread sheets and database management systems.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
