About the role
BRS is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our Central Coast team and contribute to planning and infrastructure projects across NSW and Queensland.
Working closely with our Planning Manager and multidisciplinary project teams, you will provide practical, commercially considered planning advice and help clients navigate complex development and approval processes. The role offers exposure to varied projects, genuine opportunities to build your capability and the support of an experienced, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities:
Undertake town planning tasks on projects, both in the office and on site.
Provide planning services which are fit for purpose, practical, cost effective, comply with relevant design and regulatory standards, and comply with WHS and Quality Control requirements.
Assist in the preparation of quotations and Tenders.
Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and run assigned projects.
Assist graduate level planning staff.
Provide technical advice to management, staff and clients.
Liaison, coordination and management of clients, sub consultants, authorities and contractors.
Assign and check work of technical staff assigned to work on a project.
Review and check town planning and urban design related information prepared by others.
Undertake site inspections.
Attend and participate in client meetings.
About you:
University Degree in Planning / Town Planning or equivalent, recognised by The Planning Institute of Australia.
Minimum 4 years previous town planning experience, experience in another consulting position would be advantageous.
Ability to work well both autonomously and within a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
