Packaging Project Managers

Packaging Project Manager to support a major manufacturing transformation and expansion program within a leading FMCG production facility. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of new packaging line projects from design through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of new packaging line installation projects.Manage equipment suppliers and OEMs through design, FAT, installation, SAT, commissioning, and startup phases.Coordinate site execution activities, contractors, and key stakeholders.Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities.Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.Support packaging line performance ramp-up and operational readiness.Manage project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.Ensure successful handover of projects to site operations.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.Significant experience managing packaging line installation and capital projects within FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, or consumer goods manufacturing environments.Proven experience managing OEMs, suppliers, contractors, and commissioning teams.Strong understanding of FAT, SAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and startup processes.Experience with budget control, project scheduling, and risk management.Ability to work hands-on in a live manufacturing environment.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Fluency in English is mandatory.Preferred ExperienceDairy, food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing projects.High-speed packaging lines.Factory expansion or modernization projects.Brownfield manufacturing environments.Multi-million-dollar capital investment projects.Key SkillsProject ManagementPackaging Line InstallationFMCG ManufacturingFAT & SATCommissioning & StartupCapital ProjectsContractor ManagementRisk ManagementBudget ControlSchedule ManagementStakeholder ManagementManufacturing Operations
