Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We are currently seeking a motivated and caring Hospitality Assistant to support our dedicated team across cleaning, laundry, and catering services in our aged care facility.

About the role

• Assisting with laundry services, ensuring infection control and laundry practice standards
• Maintaining adequate standards of hygiene and tidiness when cleaning residents’ rooms, community and public areas, kitchen and laundry
• Assisting with catering tasks such as preparing food and beverages and maintaining supplies

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Aged care experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Professional presentation
• Flexibility with shifts (to cover teammates when they are sick or on leave)
• A current Food Handling Certificate is required
• Previous work in Aged Care or healthcare is essential

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
