The Work

You'll be across a mix of:

Residential maintenance, fault finding, and upgrades

Commercial service work and small projects

Larger fit-outs and staged project work

EV charger installs and energy upgrades (and growing)

Work is based across Penrith, the Blue Mountains, and Western Sydney. Jobs are scheduled properly. Materials are ready before you get there. You're not left chasing your tail.

Who This Suits

We're after someone who:

• Can work independently and take ownership on site

• Is confident with fault finding and problem solving

• Produces clean, compliant, high-quality work

• Communicates well with clients and builders

• Brings a good attitude and can have a laugh — we're a team, not a number

Qualified licensed electrician preferred. We'll also consider a strong 4th year apprentice ready to finish their trade and step up — if that's you, don't talk yourself out of applying.

About the Pay

$45–$58/hr reflects experience and what you actually bring to the role.

The top end is for someone who works independently, diagnoses faults efficiently, communicates well with clients, and takes ownership from start to finish — without needing to be told twice.

The $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two equal hits: $1,000 at 3 months and $1,000 at 6 months. It's our way of saying thanks for showing up and delivering.

About Us

Expert Electrical Services is a small, tight team working across Penrith, the Blue Mountains, and Western Sydney. We've been in the trade since 2012 and running the business for ten years — which means we actually know how to organise a job.

We're not a big faceless company. You'll deal with Mitch directly. He's on the tools himself, he runs things properly, and he doesn't micromanage people who know what they're doing.

We're not the right fit for everyone — and that's fine. We're looking for one good person who wants to do solid work in a well-run team, not someone counting the days until knock-off.
