Team Member Grading DRFA Program - Fixed Term - Kilkivan
Remuneration: Annual salary commencing at $75,342, plus up to 15% superannuation
Fixed term: Initial fixed-term appointment of 12 months, with potential extension for an additional 12 months based on business needs
Location: Position based at Kilkivan

Gympie Regional Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Member to join our multi-disciplined maintenance team.
This hands-on role is primarily focused on rural road grading, construction and maintenance, with opportunities to work across a range of Council crews and projects depending on operational requirements.
You’ll operate a range of plant, trucks and equipment while also undertaking general labouring activities to deliver high-quality road and infrastructure works safely, efficiently and in accordance with recognised industry standards.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and safety-focused, with demonstrated experience operating plant and working in civil construction or road maintenance environments.
You will have:
Experience in road construction and maintenance, including earthworks, pavements, drainage, stormwater or concreting, will be highly regarded.
A Certificate III in Civil Construction, Plant Operations or a related field will also be advantageous.

The ability to Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations or equivalent is mandatory to the role, however applicants without this competency are eligible to apply.
