About the Role:

We have a permanent part-time opportunity working Monday - Friday in our Main Production Kitchen. In this role you will:

• Maintain a well organised food production and distribution operation ensuring that the needs of the residents, customers, staff, and organisation are met. 

• Assist in menu planning, standard recipe development and the dietary needs of the residents and customers. 

• Assist the Head Chef with the provision of internal and external catering functions and high-quality food service. 

• Efficiently and effectively utilise the human, financial and physical resources available in accordance with budgetary guidlelines.

Key Role Requirements: 

• Certificate III or IV in Commerical Cookery. 

• Demonstrated 2+ year's experience cooking in a cafe or restaurant setting. 

• Permanent working rights within Australia. 

• National Police Clearance. 

• Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. 

• Knowledge of the Health Act 1911 (Food Standards), WHS regulations, Food Hygiene regulations, and Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines. 

• Safe use of chemicals and knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable chemicals.
