Community Support Worker

If you have:

• an interest in supporting people with disabilities explore their capabilities and reach their potential;

• strong interpersonal skills;

• strong organisational and observation skills;

• the desire to share your interests and passions with others;

• the ability to manage your own time and work autonomously;

• a love for a constantly changing work environment;

• NDIS experience highly regarded

• qualifications in Disability and or Mental Health highly regarded;

• Early Childhood background is a Plus;

This position is for you. What we expect from you:

• Perform all duties with professionalism & care.

• Work under general guidance from the person seeking support/their family.

• Work within clearly defined guidelines

• Be responsible for managing your own time.

• Be able to work with limited supervision.

• Perform activities requiring the exercise of sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.

• Support our clients with community access.

What you need:

• An interest in supporting people with disabilities explore their capabilities and reach their potential.

• Associate degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience totalling at least three (3) years is a plus.

• NDIS screening check as required.

• A current Working with Children check.

• A current First Aid Certificate.

• A Driver's License and a car (preferred).
