Eifer is a local Canberra business that delivers a wide range of projects within construction. Combining Architectural Carpentry, Metalwork, Glazing & Building for a unique product offering to our clients.

The Role

We are looking to hire Tradesman and Apprentice Carpenters. All range of age and experience have opportunities with our Team. 

In our team we need first principles thinkers who can apply standard procedures to new types of work. Our basis for the team is commercial carpentry at its core, working predominantly on facades for the big local and regional NSW builders.

Work is on site and in our workshop in Fyshwick which includes small or large commercial jobs. 

Tradesman rate $44. Typically, new or inexperienced workers will do 3 months at $1 less until they fit effectively in the team. Apprentice rates are above award for standard and mature age. 

$30 per day fares. Parking. Full conditions (super, 2 weeks sick, 4 weeks holidays, penalty rates, LSL, clothes etc.)

We have the fortunate position of being able to offer lots of overtime to those that are interested, whilst also providing staff freedom to do the standard 40 hours to support other lifestyle commitments.
