Are you an organized, detail-oriented administrative professional looking to bring your skills to a high-impact team? Join us as an Administration Support Officer in our Corridor Management team. In this dynamic, multi-faceted role, you will be the backbone of our operations-delivering essential administrative, workflow, and systems support to engineers, technical specialists, and senior leadership.
Working directly with the Principal Advisor (Corridor and Land Management) , you will play a vital role in keeping critical infrastructure projects, permit approvals, and development assessments moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Technical & Operational Support: Coordinate team meetings, take and distribute minutes, draft engineering reports/presentations, and build/maintain operational registers and spreadsheets.
Permit & Application Coordination: Support the end-to-end administration and processing of Traffic Control Permits, Road Corridor Permits, Development Applications (DAs), and Property Searches. Systems & Data Management: Utilize specialized software tools-including eDAM, Corridor Management Work Assignment Systems, Document Management Systems (DMS), GIS mapping platforms, and the MS Office Suite.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact, building positive relationships with internal engineering teams, council representatives, applicants, and external stakeholders. Compliance & Workflow: Manage competing deadlines to ensure all operations comply with departmental standards, legislative requirements, governance frameworks, and WHS guidelines. What
We're Looking For Proven Administrative Experience: A solid background supporting technical, engineering, planning, or government teams.
Systems Savvy: Tech-literate with experience operating database/workflow systems (eDAM, DMS, GIS) alongside advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong Communication & Organization: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of managing workflows, prioritizing tasks, and tracking multi-stage approvals. Customer-Centric Approach: Great interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering responsive service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Quality & Governance Focus: Sharp attention to detail with an understanding of compliance, WHS obligations, and record-keeping standards. What We Offer
