Mechanical Fitter

Mader Group is one of Australia's leading providers of fixed plant maintenance services, supporting major mining and resource companies across the Pilbara, Goldfields, Northern Territory, SA, Metro, Southwest and international operations. We are looking for experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to join our team.

This role is part of our Shutdown – Core Crew, with ongoing shutdown opportunities available. We’re continuing to grow our core crew and are looking for people who are keen to be part of a reliable, ongoing team.

About the role:

• Working on fixed plant equipment including crushers, screens, bearings, bogey wheels, gearboxes

• Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Repairing, replacing and fitting mechanical components

• Fault finding, inspections and equipment overhauls

What you'll need:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

• Mining or heavy industry experience

• White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space & Gas Testing (essential)

• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
