What is the Role?
Join a high-performing and dedicated Science faculty committed to delivering an outstanding learning experience and fostering a passion for scientific inquiry.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team in a 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) position on a six-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, contribute to a thriving learning community, and teach within a school that values academic excellence, innovation, and student growth.
Who Are We Looking For?
The Successful Applicant Will Be a Passionate Educator Who Is Committed To Achieving Excellent Learning Outcomes And Creating Engaging Classroom Experiences. They Will Demonstrate
Proven experience teaching Secondary Science, with expertise in Physics and/or Chemistry highly regarded.A genuine enthusiasm for Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong interest in the subject.A strong understanding of contemporary educational research and best practice in senior secondary teaching and learning.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive Science team.Confidence in integrating technology into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and achievement.A commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values, and ethos.
Experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP) will be highly regarded.
