Assistant Front Office Manager

The Pagoda Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Front Office Manager to join our Front Office team.

About the role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Front Office, providing strong leadership, exceptional guest service and operational support across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of Front Office operations.

• Lead, supervise and support Front Office, Concierge and Night Audit teams.

• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and operational procedures.

• Manage guest enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.

• Support staff training, coaching, rostering and performance.

• Work closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Accounts and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.

• Assist with room revenue, rates, occupancy and OTA/channel management.

• Monitor cash handling, floats, reporting and Front Office administration.

• Take responsibility for Front Office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.

About you

• Previous experience in a Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager or similar hotel leadership role.

• Strong hands-on experience with OPERA CLOUD.

• A current Approved Manager's Card, or the ability to obtain one.

• Excellent knowledge of hotel Front Office operations.

• Strong leadership, communication and guest-service skills.

• Experience with rostering, cash handling and Front Office administration.

• Knowledge of hotel room rates, occupancy and revenue management.

• Ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• A professional, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
