About the role
About us
People, Safety, and Culture (PSC) provides services and advice to the department on a wide range of human resources (HR), transformation, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, workforce planning matters and business assets.
The HR Assist Officer sits within the Employee Workplace Relations (EWR) team of PSC and supports the HR Assist helpdesk function. As the HR Assist Officer, you will respond directly to general HR enquiries in an efficient, effective and customer focused manner in order to deliver timely, accurate and reliable HR support to managers and employees.
What you will do
As HR Assist Officer, you will provide first-level HR help by phone and email.

Relevant experience in an HR team is highly desirable. A tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field is also highly desirable.
