Auto Electrician

PJL Group is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at our long-term underground mining project in Kanmantoo, South Australia.

PJL Group is a specialised Underground Hard Rock Asset Maintenance and Supply Company that has been well established since 2006, with its head office located in Orange, NSW.
  
About the Project

The Kanmantoo Underground operation is located in the Adelaide Hills region, approximately one hour southeast of the Adelaide CBD. Surrounding towns include Mount Barker, Murray Bridge, Hahndorf and Strathalbyn.

PJL is responsible for the supply and maintenance of the underground mining fleet on a 24/7 basis from dedicated workshop facilities onsite for our client, Hillgrove Resources.
  
About the Role

Working as part of our site maintenance team, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of a range of heavy underground mining equipment.

The fleet includes equipment from CAT, Sandvik and Volvo, providing plenty of variety across your roster.

We can offer an 8:6 day shift only roster, or the opportunity to work days and nights if preferred.
  
About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Experience working on heavy mobile plant or heavy equipment
• Underground mining experience highly regarded
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with CAT, Sandvik or Volvo equipment advantageous
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work well within a site-based maintenance team
