About the Organisation

Macleay Valley Support Services (MVSS), established 2019, is an award winning, leading registered NDIS service provider, employing over 120 disability support workers, supporting 160 clients. We deliver support services to people with disability and those vulnerable in the greater Macleay Valley.

Our services include 1-to-1 in-home and community supports (NDIS and My Aged Care) and Supported Independent Living (SIL). We are a dynamic and supportive organisation where our clients and workforce are the focus of everything we do. We offer a flexible work environment for all our stakeholders where they are valued and can contribute, regardless of age, gender, disability, religion, culture, background or lifestyle. 

We are currently expanding our SIL services in Frederickton and South West Rocks, with opportunities for a variety of shifts at both locations.

About the Role

Our growing business is on the lookout for some more Support Worker superstars to join our Team! 

Our ideal support worker will:

• Aim to provide professional support services, both in-home and community to participants of the NDIS to achieve their goals.

• You will hold excellent communication and people skills.

• You will hold a current NSW Drivers License and a clear NDIS Worker Check.

Previous experience in Disability, Aged Care or Nursing is desirable, but not compulsory.

Availability on weekends and for overnight shifts an advantage.

Key Requirements for the Role:

• The legal right to work in Australia

• NDIS Worker Check clearance

• Current WWCC

• A valid drivers license with a comprehensively insured motor vehicle

• First Aid Certificate (inclusive of current CPR component)
