Senior Garment Technologist

Full-Time | $100,000 - $140,000 + Super

We're partnering with a leading Australian premium fashion house to recruit a Senior Garment Technologist.
This is an opportunity to join a design-led business creating beautifully crafted garments requiring exceptional technical expertise, precision and attention to detail.
Working across premium collections with complex construction, luxury fabrics and sophisticated silhouettes, you'll lead technical development from concept through to production, ensuring outstanding fit, quality and craftsmanship.
You'll partner closely with Design, Product Development and Production teams, mentor the technical team and collaborate with manufacturing partners to bring complex garments to life.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical development from concept to production.
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs and specifications.
• Lead fit sessions and provide technical feedback.
• Ensure excellence in fit, grading and garment construction.
• Review technical drawings, BOMs and production documentation.
• Partner with offshore suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Manage garments through the critical path.
• Maintain technical standards and compliance documentation.
• Mentor and support the technical team.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Production.

About You
You'll be an experienced Garment Technologist who enjoys solving technical challenges and takes pride in delivering beautifully executed garments.
You'll bring:

• 8+ years' experience as a Garment Technologist.
• Strong expertise in fit, grading and garment construction.
• Experience with premium or technically complex garments.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics and manufacturing processes.
• Confidence working with offshore suppliers.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
