About the Role:

• Deliver training, mentoring, coaching, and supervision to build staff capability and promote best-practice support for children with disabilities, developmental delay, or developmental concerns.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, key-worker model to strengthen family capacity, enhance social participation, and improve quality of life.
• Connect families with community resources, mainstream services, and available supports to ensure meaningful participation and inclusion.
• Work flexibly across office, community, and home-based settings as part of a passionate and collaborative team.

About You

As an Allied Health Early Supports Specialist, you will:

• Share knowledge in my discipline as part of a team of frontline professionals to support the delivery of best-practice service to children & families.
• Use my Bachelor's degree or higher qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology to support evidence-based decision-making and practice.
• Facilitate training, support & coaching for frontline staff in a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the delivery of workshops & groups to equip families with the knowledge they need to support their child’s development.
• Work within a family-centred approach that focuses on building the knowledge & capacity of parents and carers.
