Perioperative Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics & PACU

Lumia Care is currently seeking experienced Theatre Registered Nurses for flexible casual agency shifts across private hospitals and day surgery facilities throughout Chatswood and surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting nurses with experience in:

• Scrub Scout

• Anaesthetics

• Recovery

You will have opportunities to work across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, urology, gynaecology and more.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering safe, high-quality perioperative patient care

• Supporting theatre teams across Scrub Scout, Anaesthetic or Recovery areas

• Preparing equipment and maintaining sterile environments

• Monitoring patients throughout perioperative stages

• Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams

• Adapting confidently across different theatre environments

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse – Division 1)

• Minimum 12 months recent theatre nursing experience

• Experience in Scrub Scout, Anaesthetic or Recovery roles

• Relevant competencies and clinical skills

• National Police Check (valid)

• Up-to-date vaccinations & compliance documentation

• Full Australian working rights
