Customer Service Officer/ Ramp Agent

Link Airways and Corporate Air provide airline and air charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia.

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Customer Service Officer and/or Ramp Agent to join our FBO team based at Canberra Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit team where no two days are the same. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for our passengers while supporting the safe and efficient operation of our flights.

About the Role

·           Ensuring safe and efficient handling of aircraft in an array of activities such as: baggage handling, aircraft towing, aircraft cleaning, receipt and dispatch of charter and scheduled flights, along with other tasks associated with the operation.

·           Representing the company image through uniform presentation, grooming excellence and customer service delivery.

·           Providing warm and exceptional customer service at the check-in counter and departure gate.

·           Assisting passengers throughout their journey, including those requiring special assistance.

·           Preparing aircraft catering and ensuring onboard supplies are correctly loaded.

·           Working closely with flight crew, ground staff and operational teams to ensure flights depart safely and on time.

·           Ensuring aviation safety and security compliance relating to passengers and staff.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

•              Previous airline or customer service experience (airline experience highly regarded).

•              Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

•              A polished and professional presentation, maintaining a high standard of grooming at all times.

•              A strong commitment to safety and a positive safety culture.

•              The ability to work effectively within a small team while also being confident working independently.

•              A flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and disruptions.

•              Strong organisational skills with attention to detail when managing operational and regulatory documentation.

•              A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required.
