Cleaning Area Manager

GreenCorp is seeking an Cleaning Area Manager for the West of Melbourne. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operational needs for your area and clients by ensuring the team are delivering the most effective cleaning services. You will manage a large number of diverse frontline employees – recruitment, rosters, timesheets, attendance, health & safety, training and quality assurance. You will ensure that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all of the sites that you oversee.

This is a 'roving' job where you will be required to assist us across multiple sites in Melbourne West & Geelong - Company car included

Monday to Friday 8hrs per day approx 1pm to 9pm (flexible)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

· Client Management / Liaison

Build relationships with customers, respond to requests, queries and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

· Staff Liaison & Management

Preparation of rosters and supervising staff, ensuring all site commitments are being met and any changes (e.g. client instructions, site-specific requests, personnel changes, absenteeism, etc) are efficiently managed. Provide regular feedback to staff on performance and encourage and promote collaborative discussions around business improvements.

· Quality Control

Conduct regular quality inspections and cleaning audits across agreed sites, highlighting potential issues and offering guidance to staff, while also providing regular feedback and reports to management (via QC System).

· Training

Provide on-site training and induction of new staff in accordance with GreenCorp training, quality assurance and OHS&E guidelines. Review skills & training requirements for existing staff and provide ongoing guidance on all aspects of a cleaner’s role including; scope review, cleaning techniques and OHS&E procedures.

· Safety

Ensure that work place sites are safe environments for staff and sub-contractors. Assist in identifying and reporting any risks or hazards using the OHS&E processes that are set in place.

· Recruitment

Identifying, vetting and recruiting staff and sub-contractors for new sites and/or replacement and back-up teams for existing sites.

· Deliveries

Deliver consumables and equipment as required to sites.

· Administrative Tasks

· Prepare reports, manage budgets, and ordering supplies

About You:

• Positive outlook & pride in everything you do
• Commercial cleaning experience (4 years)
• Area Manager / Supervisor experience
• Personable with excellent communication skills
• Reliable with attention to detail
• A positive attitude toward workplace safety, wellbeing & the environment
• Current Police Check
• FULL working entitlements in Australia, Perm. Resident
• Full Car licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
