What You’ll Be Doing

Leading our operational advisory and embedded workforce across Western Australia. You’ll drive business performance, strengthen client partnerships, monitor workforce utilisation, and develop a scalable operating model to support future growth.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping how MEC delivers embedded technical expertise to mining clients.

We’ll also be asking you to;

• Guide & develop Team Leads, and embedded consultants.
• Drive revenue, profitability, utilisation & commercial performance.
• Grow the pipeline through strong client relationships & targeted business development.
• Develop a clear understanding of operational challenges & devise mitigation strategies.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all client sites.
• Manage subcontractor performance & commercial arrangements.
• Stay close to operations & maintain a visible presence on client sites. (This will provide valuable insights to client priorities, consultant performance and emerging opportunities).

About You

As an experienced mining leader you’ve acquired operational credibility with commercial acumen and a genuine interest in developing people.

While previous consulting experience is an advantage, it's not essential. What matters most is your understanding of mining operations, your ability to build strong relationships, and your confidence in navigating complex technical and commercial challenges. We welcome applications from candidates with operational, corporate, or technical services backgrounds.

Your success in role will be ensured by;

• Proven experience in mining operations, technical services or consulting.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated success leading operational & embedded teams.
• Commercial expertise to manage profitability & workforce utilisation.
• Ability to build productive client relationships & secure new / repeat work.
• A collaborative leadership style & ability to positively influence at all levels.
• Experience across multiple commodities & mining environments.
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
