About the Role

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance and service activities, coordinating field resources, and providing technical support across a range of power generation and electrical systems.

You will play a key role in ensuring scheduled and reactive maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures, electrical standards, and HSE requirements.

This is a FIFO position to Kalgoorlie, operating on 15 days on, 13 days off roster. The point of hire is Perth, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor seeking to combine hands-on technical leadership with a balanced roster in a dynamic field service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise field-based electrical personnel, contractors, and labour resources. Coordinate field service activities including installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and repairs. Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and site coordination meetings. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to electricians, technicians, and apprentices. Deliver high-level troubleshooting and fault-finding support across power generation and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with statutory electrical requirements, company procedures, HSE policies, and ISO management systems. Coordinate the procurement and availability of tools, equipment, plant, and materials. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, fault reports, incident reports, and site documentation. Respond to emergency breakdowns and critical maintenance issues to minimise customer downtime. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and contractors. About You

WA Electrical Licence or recognised electrical trade qualification. Statutory Supervisor (S26) qualification. HV Switching qualifications and practical experience. Previous supervisory experience within a field service, maintenance, utilities, resources, or power generation environment. Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems and associated equipment. Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnosing complex electrical faults. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong planning, organisational, and time-management abilities. A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of electrical standards and HSE requirements. The ability to lead teams, influence outcomes, and maintain high standards under pressure.
