MR HR HC DRIVERS

About the role

Apollo Landscaping Supplies is seeking experienced MR HR HC Drivers to join our team on a casual or fulltime basis. Casual drivers will have the flexibility to work 2–5 days per week, with flexible hours to suit their needs. Full-time drivers will have an initial three-month probationary period. During this time, they will have the opportunity to settle into the role and demonstrate their suitability. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, they will continue in the role as a full-time employee.

Based in Coopers Plains, QLD, this role offers flexibility with work arrangements, making it ideal for drivers seeking varied scheduling options. You will be operating heavy vehicles with MR, HR, and HC class licenses, playing an essential part in maintaining our reputation for reliable and professional service delivery.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate heavy vehicles ( MR,HR, and HC class) safely and efficiently in accordance with all relevant road and transport regulations

2. Transport landscaping supplies to customer destinations within designated delivery routes

3. Maintain accurate delivery documentation as required

4. Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and handle any delivery-related inquiries

5. Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times

6. Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and report any mechanical issues promptly

7. Ensure loads are secured appropriately and transported in compliance with weight and load regulations

What we're looking for

1. Current and valid MR, HR, and HC class driver's licence with a clean driving record

2. Any one of the MR, HR, or HC class driver's licences is sufficient for this position

3. Proven experience operating heavy vehicles in road transport or delivery roles

4. Minimum of 1-2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience is required

5. Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements

6. Strong communication and customer service abilities

7. Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules

8. The ability to work independently whilst following company protocols and procedures

9. Physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading of supplies where required

10. A current National Police Check

11. Preferred: Experience in delivering materials within the building & landscaping industry
