Production Technician

Sunrise Medical is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributor of Assistive Technology Devices for people requiring assistance in their day to day life. 

Based in Wetherill Park we produce, distribute, service and support a broad range of wheelchairs and associated products to authorized dealers and agents around Australia.

Due to continued growth of our business, we are seeking a capable Production Technician to assist our growing team with:

• Conducting Quality checks (QC) of chairs produced

• Assemble chairs of all variants to the required standards (manual and power chairs)

• Fit power-assist devices to manual wheelchairs

• Machine and fabricate supporting hardware, if required

• Packing and labelling finished chairs ready for Dispatch

Candidates must have:

• Ability to follow processes and instructions clearly

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools

• Intermediate PC knowledge

• Driver's License

• Understanding of safety requirements regarding manual handling

• Fitness and good health

Additional desired skills:

• Mechanical, machining and/or fabrication experience

• Trade qualification in a mechanical or manufacturing discipline

• JD Edwards ERP experience

• Forklift license

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:45pm.
