Team Leader - Parks Operations

A unique opportunity for a horticultural professional with a passion for Australian native plants.

Based primarily at the renowned Joseph Banks Native Plants Reserve, you'll lead the care and presentation of one of Sydney's few gardens dedicated entirely to Australian native flora. Featuring themed gardens, remnant bushland and an extensive native plant collection, this role offers the rare opportunity to work from a single location while helping maintain one of the Shire's most treasured horticultural assets.

Lead a field-based crew delivering parks and open space maintenance across the Shire. No two days are the same as you help maintain the parks, reserves and community spaces that residents enjoy every day.

You'll have:

• Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent)
• MR Driver Licence, or willingness to obtain within six months
• AQF3/ChemCert (or equivalent)
• White Card
• Experience leading or supervising teams in horticulture, landscaping or parks maintenance
• Strong planning, communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to safety, teamwork and delivering high-quality outcomes
