The Department

Alfred ICU is a university attached quaternary referral centre, providing State Service for heart and lung transplantation (including paediatric lung transplantation), artificial heart technology, extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), burns trauma and hyperbaric medicine. It also provides Victoria’s Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hyperextension Services.

Skills 

• Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (ICU)
• ICU experience in an acute hospital (aligned with the AHPRA registration requirements)
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Passionate about delivering outstanding patient-centred care
• A commitment to continuing professional development to advance nursing practice
