Freight Forwarding – Order Management & Customer Service

JHB is an Australian owned and managed, international freight forwarder looking for an experienced Order Management & Customer Service Specialist.

The Role

This is an experienced freight forwarding position for someone who understands the industry and is highly proficient in CargoWise.

You will manage customer orders and shipments from booking through to arrival - working closely with customers, shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and our operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and shipments.

• Work with our sales & procurement team to manage rates and auto-rating.

• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, airlines and overseas agents

• Monitor shipments, ETAs and potential delays

• Provide proactive customer updates and resolve queries

• Check charges, documentation and billing accuracy

• Work closely with operations and customs team

• Maintain high levels of data accuracy and customer service

About You

You will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in international freight forwarding

• Strong CargoWise knowledge and experience

• Strong Order Management and AutoRating experience

• An outgoing and positive manner, with excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership

• A proactive, problem-solving attitude
