Location: Southern Adelaide based/Mobile Role
Employment: Casual, with full-time available for the right applicant
Pay: $50-60 per hour

Field One Mobile Mechanical is seeking a qualified and reliable Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our field service team.

This position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role for the right applicant.

You will service, diagnose and repair a fleet of trucks, trailers, heavy equipment or machinery, helping ensure it remains safe, reliable and ready for operation for our clients.

Your responsibilities

• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

• Inspect vehicles and equipment and identify required repairs

• Attend breakdowns when required

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Ensure all work meets safety and quality requirements

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

About you

You will have:

• A relevant Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant trade qualification

• Experience maintaining heavy vehicles or machinery

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• A current HR licence

• A strong commitment to workplace safety

• The ability to work independently and within a team

• Good communication and time-management skills

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment

Auto-electrical experience, refrigerant handling licence or forklift licence would be advantageous.
