LiftWorthy is a growing Australian company specialising in heavy equipment repairs, crane inspections, and compliance services across a range of industries.
Alongside LiftWorthy, we also operate Fuel Calibration Services and Tanker Repair Services, providing servicing, repairs, maintenance, inspections, and compliance solutions for fuel tankers, bulk fuel equipment, and transport assets.
Our team works on a diverse range of equipment, including mobile cranes, overhead cranes, EWPs, trucks, trailers, tankers, forklifts, telehandlers, and other heavy machinery. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle & Machinery Mechanic to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position working on a diverse range of equipment, including mobile cranes, overhead cranes, EWPs, trucks, trailers, tankers, forklifts, telehandlers, and other heavy machinery.
The role offers a mix of workshop and field service work, with occasional travel to customer sites to carry out inspections, servicing, repairs, and breakdown support.
Diagnose, repair, and service heavy vehicles and machinery.
Carry out preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
Perform fault finding on hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Complete servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance on:
Mobile Cranes
Overhead Cranes
Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs)
Trucks
Trailers
Tankers
Forklifts
Telehandlers
Other heavy machinery and equipment
Attend breakdowns and carry out field service work when required.
Complete service reports and maintenance records.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Work to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
The successful applicant will have:
Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, or Diesel Mechanic.
Experience working on heavy machinery.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attitude and willingness to learn.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
HR Driver's Licence.
Crane Licence.
EWP Licence.
Forklift Licence.
Experience working on mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and EWPs.
Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, trailers, tankers, and heavy machinery.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, PTO (Power Take-Off) systems, and air systems.
Experience with auto electrical diagnostics and fault finding.
Previous field service experience.
