Our client provides mobile Speech Pathology services for clients of all ages across Adelaide SA, as well as Telehealth services across Australia. Their mission is to enhance communication and swallowing abilities, empowering clients to achieve their full potential. They prioritise collaborative care with families, educators, and caregivers to ensure measurable progress and success in communication.
Role description: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech Pathologist on a contract basis to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of various age groups.
As a contractor, you’ll work independently with participants across various community settings or via Telehealth to provide tailored, evidence-based therapy services. Key responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and swallowing abilities for individuals of all ages. Develop individualised treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders. Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to support treatment goals. Document and track patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Provide recommendations for ongoing care and support post-treatment. Work independently and manage your own schedule to meet patient needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology (or relevant) SPA membership with full CPSP status
Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience Valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance
ABN (or willingness to obtain one) Compliance documents, e.g. working with children check, national police check, NDIS worker check, RRHAN-EC (or willingness to obtain)
