B1 & B2 LAME / AME - Full-Time, Casual & Fixed Term Contracts Available

Performance Aviation provides a comprehensive and expert maintenance, modification, and support service for a broad range of fixed wing aircraft. 

About the role

Due to continued growth, securing new contracts, and an increased workload from ongoing business expansion, Performance Aviation is growing our engineering team based in Shellharbour, NSW. We're seeking B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) / AMEs. 

Whether you're after the flexibility of casual or contract work, or you're looking for a long-term full-time role with genuine career progression, we'd like to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• A combination of line and base maintenance

• Performing inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification and maintenance tasks

• Certifying completed maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and regulations

• Team coordination and oversight (where applicable to role)

• Identifying and reporting defects, discrepancies, hazards, incidents and safety concerns

• Completing accurate maintenance documentation and records

• Working to outcomes while ensuring the highest quality of workmanship

• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Working collaboratively with the wider engineering and support team

• Undertaking travel to other company locations on occasion

About you

You'll demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to consistently deliver work to the highest standard. You're a strong communicator with a good eye for detail and solid time management skills, able to complete maintenance activities to a high standard with minimal supervision. You take pride in your workmanship, follow safe work practices, and contribute positively to a professional, team-based maintenance environment.

You'll ideally hold one of the following:

• A current and unrestricted B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence, or

• A current and unrestricted B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence / AME

Preferred experience:

• Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft

• Garmin avionics equipment

• Pratt & Whitney PT6A and/or Honeywell TPE331 engines

• Line and base maintenance environments
