Senior SAP Test Lead – S/4HANA Retail & MM

Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Test Lead to lead end-to-end testing across SAP S/4HANA, Retail, Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Logistics and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

This role will be responsible for defining and driving the overall test strategy, coordinating testing activities across complex SAP business processes and integrations, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing.

The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP testing leadership experience with hands-on knowledge of SAP MM, Procurement/P2P, Logistics and Retail processes, along with exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, integrations and test automation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end test strategy, planning and execution across SAP S/4HANA, Retail, MM, Procurement and Logistics.

• Define test scope, estimates, timelines, resource requirements, entry/exit criteria and testing governance.

• Lead testing across key Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchasing, goods receipt, invoice verification, inventory and stock movements.

• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression and end-to-end testing.

• Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, test data and execution results.

• Validate SAP master data, including material/vendor master and purchasing-related data.

• Lead testing of integrations between SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems, including APIs and cloud/on-premise interfaces.

• Support testing of SAP BTP extensions, CPI/Cloud Integration flows and custom Fiori applications.

• Manage defects, facilitate defect triage and work closely with functional, technical and business teams through resolution.

• Drive test automation and maintain automated regression suites using tools such as Tricentis Tosca or SAP test automation solutions.

• Provide clear test status reporting, quality metrics, risks and recommendations to key stakeholders.

• Ensure testing supports successful SAP releases, upgrades, cloud updates and transformation milestones.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as an SAP Test Lead, SAP Test Manager or Senior SAP Testing professional.

• Proven experience leading testing for SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration or transformation programs.

• Strong functional testing knowledge across SAP MM, Procurement/P2P, Inventory Management and Logistics.

• Experience with SAP Retail and associated retail or merchandising business processes is highly desirable.

• Strong experience leading SIT, UAT, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.

• Experience testing complex SAP integrations, interfaces and APIs.

• Exposure to SAP BTP, CPI/Cloud Integration and Fiori is highly regarded.

• Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other SAP test automation solutions is desirable.

• Strong defect management experience using tools such as Jira, SAP Solution Manager or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to lead testing teams and work effectively with business, functional, technical and delivery stakeholders.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to operate effectively within large-scale and complex SAP transformation environments.
