Step-by-step directions

Step 1: Transform how you prepare for monthly staff meetings. Upload multiple documents (new policies, test data, school updates) and have AI create a complete slide presentation in minutes instead of spending hours creating slides from scratch. Download all three files from the "Links Needed for Activity" section (new district policy, latest test results, and monthly school updates). Open ChatGPT. Upload all three files and send the prompt below. ChatGPT will generate an outline. You can follow up with more prompts to refine it as needed.Step 2: Next, go to Gamma by clicking the link in the "Links Needed for Activity" section. Click "Start for free" and set up your account. Once signed in, you’ll land on a page with 3 options: "Paste in text", "Generate", and "Import file or URL." We will be using "Paste in text." If you want an explanation of what each does, please watch the video tutorial. Click on "Paste in text." Then, at the top of the page, choose "Presentation" as the format. Paste in the outline you created using ChatGPT into the box that says "Type or paste content in here." Then, scroll down and where it asks "What do you want to do with this content?" click on "Preserve this exact text" Next, click "Continue to prompt editor" at the bottom of the page. You will be brought to a page where you have more options. If you would like a full description of what these do, watch the video tutorial. Next, you will want to click on "Continue" at the bottom of the page. You will them be prompted to select a theme. Select a theme and press "Generate." Gamma will create your slides. After your slides are generated, take time to review each one. Make sure the content, visuals, and layout support your lesson. You can click on any slide to edit the text or swap out images. If needed, move elements around to improve clarity. When you're finished, click "Present" to display your slides directly in Gamma, or click "Share" and then "Export" to download the deck as a PowerPoint or export to Google Slides.
