About the role
Link Airways and Corporate Air provide airline and air charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia.
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced AMO/CAMO Quality Manager to join our Canberra based head office Safety and Quality Department.
As the AMO/CAMO Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
Reporting on quality to meet the requirements of the Safety Management and Quality System (SMQS).
Ensuring that the AMOM and CAM have in place those elements necessary to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
Ensuring that procedures are carried out consistently and in compliance with applicable requirements.
Ensuring that the AMOM and CAM continuously review and improve their procedures, products, and services.
Ensuring communication and coordination with managers and staff for the management of quality assurance issues and results.
Ensuring well designed and documented procedures exist.
Ensuring, as required, that Third Party Interfaces have appropriate quality systems in place.
Inspection and testing of AMO and CAMO procedures and monitoring of equipment and operations.
Monitoring quality performance by conducting quality audits and providing guidance on quality oversight.
We are looking for:
At least 2 years’ experience in aviation quality management.
Be deemed suitable by CASA to hold the position.
Completed a course in quality management/Lead Auditor (IOSA audit experience highly desirable).
Knowledge of CASR Part 42/145 and the Part 42/145 MOS and other regulations applicable to the continuing airworthiness and operation of the aircraft.
A comprehensive knowledge of at least one computerised maintenance control system such as WinAir, AvTrak, CESCOM or CAMP.
A sound understanding of audit management software such as AIRS, Intelex, etc
Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel.)
Strong, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, accuracy and willingness to accept responsibility.
Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
The position is ideally full-time, however a part-time arrangement will be considered to the right applicant. The role will require a dedicated individual who is looking for a career in a long-established and leading aviation Company. Both roles are based in the companies Canberra head office, remote work options are not being offered.
