We’re looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly GP clinic.

If you’re confident with Best Practice, comfortable in a busy medical environment and genuinely enjoy working with people, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming patients and providing warm, professional service
• Managing appointments, phones and patient enquiries
• Patient check-in/check-out and Medicare billing
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
• Managing referrals, correspondence and recalls
• Supporting our doctors and clinical team
• Keeping reception running smoothly and efficiently

About you

You’ll be:

• Experienced in medical reception, ideally within general practice
• Confident using Best Practice software
• Calm, organised and able to multitask
• Friendly, professional and an excellent communicator
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently
• Someone who takes pride in providing a great patient experience
• Committed to patient privacy and confidentiality
