About the Role

Join the Adult Community Mental Health Team and play a key role in delivering specialist mental health support to consumers and their families. This position provides the opportunity to undertake comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and coordinate recovery-focused care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Working closely with consumers, carers, internal teams and external agencies, you will help achieve positive outcomes through collaborative, person-centred practice while also providing clinical leadership and support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mental health assessments, treatment and care plans
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk management
• Coordinate care across community, inpatient and external services
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision
• Complete clinical reports, documentation and tribunal requirements
• Participate in rostered duty functions, triage and urgent assessments

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualification in Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience delivering recovery-oriented mental health care
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, trauma-informed practice and risk assessment
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
