Our experienced and supportive team provides a broad range of professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations, Webster packing, sleep apnoea support, Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) treatment services, and Oral Contraceptive (OC) consultations.

The Role:

As a Dispensary Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and supporting various administrative tasks. Your role will involve close collaboration with pharmacists to ensure effective prescription preparation, stock management, and superior customer service. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be key in maintaining TerryWhite Chemmart's standards.

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, offering 30-38 hours per week across four weekdays and Saturday mornings. The weekday roster is worked between 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, with Saturday shifts from 8:30am-12:30pm.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers promptly.
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage inventory, including stock monitoring and ordering as needed.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding prescription processing and wait times.
• Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.

About You:

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy as a Dispensary Technician
• Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated administrative tasks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate effectively across various roles
• Customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Positive, proactive, and resourceful mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
• Experience in inventory management and a good understanding of pharmacy operations
• Proficiency in computer systems used for prescription processing and inventory management
