Enterprise ArchitectLocation: TechM-AUS-SydneyYears of Experience: 15+ YearsJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in JavaGUI/SWING to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align technology with business goals and drive innovation within the organization.Responsibilities:Design and implement enterprise-level architecture solutions that meet business requirements and enhance system performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Analyze and improve existing systems and processes to optimize performance and scalability.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Mandatory Skills:Strong expertise in JavaGUI/SWING development and architecture.Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud architecture and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.Experience in leading large-scale enterprise projects from conception to delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.15+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a focus on enterprise solutions.Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus.If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a strong background in JavaGUI/SWING, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to shape the future of our enterprise architecture.
