Hydraulic Fitter/Mobile Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydraulic Fitter/Mobile Technician to join our dynamic team at Pirtek Milperra. This full-time role will see you providing expert hydraulic maintenance, repair and installation services to our valued customers across the greater Milperra area. As a mobile technician, you will be responsible for responding to on-site service calls, diagnosing issues and delivering first-class solutions to keep our clients' operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

1. Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of hydraulic equipment and systems

2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic issues on-site

3. Providing technical advice and solutions to customers

4. Performing installations and retrofits of hydraulic components

5. Keeping detailed records and job logs

6. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

1. Strong hydraulic and mechanical knowledge, with a recognised trade qualification in Fluid Power, Engineering or a related field

2. Cylinder and hydraulic pump repairs

3. Proven experience as a mobile hydraulic technician, ideally within the trades and services industry

4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

5. Strong customer service orientation and clear communication skills

6. A current driver's licence

7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
