About the role
Lumus Imaging are hiring for Permanent Full Time Medical Receptionists to join their team. This role is based in Mount Ommaney and will require occasional travel to other clinics within the western cluster, to provide coverage when required. Working hours are varying shifts between 7am - 5pm across Monday– Friday, with optional Saturday shifts (penalty rates for weekend work will apply).
As a Medical Receptionist you will play an essential role in the experience our patients have when they visit our clinic for medical imaging appointments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be providing reception services and acting as the first point of contact for patients and practitioners. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience working with people both face to face and over the phone as well as being able to navigate various technology and systems.

Key responsibilities
•    Welcoming patients and providing a professional and compassionate first impression
•    Managing patient bookings, referrals, and enquiries (in person and via phone)
•    Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
•    Processing Medicare, billing, and payment transactions
•    Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
About you
•    Experience in a healthcare or medical reception/admin role is desirable but not essential
•    Strong communication and customer service skills
•    High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
•    Confidence using computers and administrative systems
•    A team-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care
