Truck Drive / Yard Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing our yard, organising materials and equipment, and completing deliveries and collections across our construction sites throughout Sydney. The position would suit someone who enjoys being on the road but also taking ownership of a yard and logistics operation, rather than sitting behind the wheel all day.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect materials, tools and equipment from construction sites and suppliers

• Load and unload trucks safely

• Manage and maintain an organised construction yard

• Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs

• Coordinate deliveries with our project and site teams

• Keep track of tools, equipment and materials coming in and out of the yard

• Assist with general yard duties and material handling

• Maintain the truck and yard in a clean and presentable condition

• Work closely with our construction team to keep sites supplied and running efficiently

About you

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Experience driving trucks and making commercial/construction deliveries

• Construction industry experience highly regarded

• Forklift licence preferred

• White Card

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Able to work independently and manage daily priorities

• Good communication skills and a practical, can-do attitude
