Job Summary

We are seeking talented Casual Cooks, Baristas and all-round Foodies to join our busy new organic wholefoods café. In this role, you will prepare and serve nutritious dishes that celebrate fresh, wholesome ingredients. If you love clean eating, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and care deeply about nutritional quality, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Wholefood Preparation: Prepare raw ingredients, house-made dressings, and organic produce from scratch daily.
• Meal and Drinks Service: heat and serve vibrant, nutritious take-away dishes quickly and accurately during peak rushes.
• Dietary Adaptability: Follow strict recipes to safely accommodate gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and allergen-specific orders.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food presentation, ensuring every order looks fresh, colorful, and appetizing.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Culinary Experience: Proven experience cooking in a fast-paced café or commercial kitchen environment.
• Wholefoods Passion: Interest in organic ingredients, superfoods, and health-focused cooking techniques.
• Fast-Paced Efficiency: Ability to stay calm, organized, and fast under pressure

Pay & Benefits

• Award Wages: Paid fully in accordance with the .
• Casual Loading: Earn casual base rates starting from $33.85 to $36.81 per hour (dependent on classification/experience level) plus applicable weekend penalty rates.
